Literature Text

i am counting on the morning that by chance, i walk into a cafe to find chai tea and see a boy with blue eyes and brown hair, a straight nose and no freckles.

thinner than you, three eighths of an inch taller than you, everything opposite of what you were and nothing to remind me of your absence.

and he will glance at me from the sheer force of my eyes delving so deep into his, and he, wondering what could cause me to look with such intensity, will ask, "what are you looking at (for)?"

and with a tiny, almost unnoticeable blush i shall reply in a tone barely over a whisper, "you look lost and alone, just like me." and like a switch snapped in a circuit, we'll happen to notice in each other the traits that we had been searching for in ourselves, and i will realize that i adore his tattoos because my skin is so innocent and he will notice how my vision is perfect as he looks at me through thick-rimmed glasses.

i'll say, "i like your shirt." and he'll reply, "i like your eyes." and it will go back and forth until it ends with, "i like your heart."

"i like you."

and we will both be lonely together and by the rule of double negatives, we'll never be lonely again.
i am so trying to forget everything about you.

That's beautiful dear. :) We should talk sometime. SO much I have to tell you... not much of it is good, anyways.
